The setting in Skype
This is the setting for proofing in Skype. Turn it on so that everything you type inside an instant messaging window is checked. Spelling mistakes are underlined with a red squiggly line
Region and Language
The fastest way to access to access the language settings in windows is to start typing on the start menu. We are looking for "Region and Language". Select it to activate the following dialog box:
Change Keyboards
In the "Region and Language" settings find the "Keyboards and language" tab. On this tab we can click the "Change Keyboards" button. With this we can change the Text Services and Input Languages.
Switch between languages.
If your proofing language of choice is already set here. But Skype is not proofing in the correct language we need to switch between languages to make the selection active. Go to add and add the Ink Correction and a second language. Now go back and switch to another language. Click Apply. After we have clicked apply we switch back to the language of choice and click apply again. Now we can close all dialog boxes and check the proofing in Skype.
